Shallow Depth of Field
This image was taken in the Ricks Gardens. I Crouched close to the lions face, made sure that I had no zoom, set my f-stop as low as possible and snapped the shot. I like the cold feel it gives.

I found this little Chinese tower in a secret room in the jungle room. It was cold and dark in the room and I felt like I captured that very well. This little hut is maybe a meter tall. I crouched low and took a picture looking up. The background wasn’t as blurred as I wanted. I still really like it.

Deep Depth of Field
This image was taken in the Ricks Gardens. I found a set of pillars making an alley. It looked cool to have the first and last pillar in focus despite their difference in depth.

This image was also taken in the ricks gardens. These are tiny caps on the end of fens rungs. I got very close to the first cap, set my camera stable on the fence and took the picture.
